Brought to you by the International Culture Club, MOONRAYA 2009 is an event which celebrates the joyous Mooncake Festival along with Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Actitivies include lemang cooking competition and ketupat folding class, as well as an officiating ceremony-cum-dinner.
During the dinner itself, you will enjoy a string of performances by the Universiti Teknologi Petronas Orchestra Chinese Musical (UTPOCM), Gamelan, as well as a solo guitar performance that has before captivated the hearts of many. A great variety of food will be served, including the traditional kuah kacang, nasi impit, rendang, lemang etc. Tickets for the dinner are sold at only RM10, and free laterns will be given. Participants of Lemang Cooking Competition will be getting free tickets.
